JOSEFA: Migration in solidarity

Forced migration, as a restricting event, can be the source of a change of attitude or perspective in face of the world.

For some, it will also be the time of anexperience or a test of confidence. Thus, the experience of leaving behind their friends, their family, their professional world, their assets, their country, may result in the opportunity to grow in dialogue with oneself, with others. We could, at this point, refer to the "sign of the times": migration, in its historical events, leads to an encounter, to hospitality and dialogue.

In a way, it is about existing in another way, together, and applying a simple principle: that of solidarity.

Migration, in its insertion, prompts the one rich, and the other poor, in their mutual hospitality, to walk together.

Therefore, the Josefa House is offered as a favourable place, as a shelter to build common sense, where everyone, in their own way, can, once again, feel "at home".

And, thus, from the threshold of the Josefa House will undoubtedly spread a peaceful living together in which migration and solidarity are harmonised.
