JOSEFA Mill

In search of a timeless tradition, beyond the quest for profitability at all costs.

In this place, which has been marked by centuries, it is a question of trying to remember the future which, migrating to the present, is rooted in environments and spaces that generate creativity.

Like the proposal "together, migrating", the Josefa project wants to let the inter-sphere musicalities resonate, at the heart of our bio-spheres, and, in particular, of the Josefa Mill sphere, in its heart or on its periphery.

From existing, contingencies, environments, human, animal, vegetable or mineral, the Josefa Mill project is envisaged as a will and desire to create and design renewed landscapes.

With the ambition of renewed landscapes by taking into account our migrations, our migrant conditions, by looking at the place and its buildings, by inhabiting spaces in their eco-logical diversity, the Josefa project wants to let itself be carried by the desires buried or damaged over time in this area of the world.

To inhabit, to allow oneself to be inhabited by this place fed by ebb and flow and above all to allow another narrative to emerge that fully respects the spirit and soul of the place. It is a question of abandoning any idea of "profitability" or short-term profits and much more of being attentive to the signs of time, space and the earth in order to respect and welcome the virginal gift of the place.

In a way, to offer and receive more than to take and produce. Inhabiting our human condition in the course of our migrations opens up, in a way, on the basis of a communally founding language: "together, migrant inhabitants", to a responsibility: to build and cultivate a peacefully habitable world.
