The JOSEFA House

In response to the many challenges of the current migration, the Josefa Foundation, since 2012, has presented a unique and innovative proposal because it is comprehensive (social, economic, cultural, ideological) in its approach and is based on its founding maxim: "Migrants, all of us"...

Most of you are aware of the Josefa project centred on the Josefa House in Brussels. By giving "our migrations" a fundamental societal role, the Josefa House proposes a hospitality in reciprocity among us all, migrants.

In May, 2015, the Josefa House opened its doors and today has about twenty residents, with multiple social, cultural and faith-based activities: conferences, workshops, exhibitions, concerts.

In 2018, to further its mission and strengthen its capacity to welcome its residents and visitors, the Josefa House will need some improvements: insulation, waterproofing, acoustics, roof, windows, plumbing, electricity, heating, lighting, ventilation, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, waste management, and restoration of the facades, terraces and gardens. The goal is to improve the building’s safety and circulation, and increase its energy savings and comfort. To help us achieve this, we would be happy to consider you among the contributors who will support our work.

Since our needs are substantial, your human, material or financial resources are welcome.

Financial contributions can be made via PayPal or to the Josefa Foundation account: BE93 0016 7691 3667.
